Reasons why crusher bearings are locked

Shenyang crusher refers to a crushing machine in which the content of particles with a diameter greater than 3 mm accounts for more than half of the total output. Crushing operations are often divided into coarse crushing, medium crushing and fine crushing according to the size of the input and output particles. What is the reason for the bearing, as an important component, to be locked?

1. Improper assembly

(1) When installing the crusher, the installation between the outer ring of the bearing and the bearing seat hole or between the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft is incorrect.

(2) During the installation of the crusher, the bearing heating temperature may not be properly controlled.

(3) During the installation of the crusher, the bearing clearance may not be properly adjusted.

2. Oil seal problem

The oil seal is a seal used to seal the rotating shaft oil in mechanical equipment. The cavity is basically stationary, so the oil seal is also called the rotating shaft lip seal. For oil seals with auxiliary lips, the auxiliary lips act as a dustproof function to prevent impurities from invading, thereby extending the service life of the oil seal. However, the auxiliary lips are generally not smooth enough, resulting in dry friction and damage to the oil seal.

3. Gap Issues

During crusher installation, if the size of the gasket is not carefully checked and the installation test is performed, the temperature will rise rapidly after a period of time. The size of the bearing outer ring is determined by the end cap and the bearing seat stop. As the gasket size is reduced, the size of the inner ring is adjusted using the round nut. After compression, the axial clearance of the bearing decreases, which will cause heat generation during operation.

4. Lubrication Issues

Crusher bearings should not have excessive grease. Excessive grease increases frictional torque and raises bearing temperature. Too little grease will result in insufficient lubrication and dry friction.
